Student Responsibility
Punctuality for Classes: Students should not join a class after it has started. Arriving late disrupts the teaching flow and hinders the facilitator’s ability to manage the session efficiently. Latecomers may feel disoriented and distract the rest of the group if the facilitator tries to catch them up.
Group Sessions These sessions last for 55 minutes and cannot be extended beyond the scheduled time, as facilitators may have other classes lined up.
Individual Sessions: These sessions are 55 minutes long and also cannot be extended beyond the designated hour due to other commitments of the facilitators.
Preparedness and Punctuality: Students should be seated and logged in at least 5 minutes before the class begins to ensure a prompt start. Their cameras should remain on throughout the session.
Study Environment: Students should set up their study space in a quiet, distraction-free room. They should avoid places where family members may be walking around or talking in the background.
Classroom Etiquette: Students should speak one at a time to ensure clear communication. Microphones should remain muted until it is their turn to speak. Participation Protocol: Students should use the ‘raise your hand’ function on Zoom to indicate their desire to speak or participate in activities.
Materials and Preparation: Students should be prepared with all necessary materials for the class, such as art supplies, pencils, notebooks, water bottles, musical instruments, and any assignments or homework from previous sessions.
Avoiding Distractions: Students should not use their phones or play with toys or gadgets during the class. Eating or drinking beverages during the class is also discouraged, as it can be distracting and hinder participation.
